Graduate Lawyer, Aspiring Law Wanaka
Q: When did you join Aspiring Law?
A: I joined Aspiring Law in June of this year. I’ve felt genuinely welcomed by a team that’s not only highly skilled but also deeply connected to the community.
Q: Can you tell us about your background and educational journey?
A: I’m originally from a small coastal town in Australia and completed my Bachelor of Laws in Melbourne. During my degree I had the opportunity to study at Università Carlo Cattaneo of Milan in Italy and the University of Leeds in England, before making the move to practice here in New Zealand. This really broadened my perspective on international law and the contrasting legal systems.
Q: What brought you to Wānaka?
A: Outside of law, I have a love for travel and snowboarding, I’ve been lucky enough to visit over 40 countries and spend several winters chasing snow across Canada and Japan. The glowing reviews of Wānaka and Mt Cardrona were hard to ignore, and once I arrived, I could immediately see why. It’s a stunning part of the world with a great balance of lifestyle and community, and I feel fortunate to now call it home.
Q: What do you enjoy most about practising law?
A: Being able to help people navigate complex situations with clarity and confidence. It’s rewarding to take something that can feel overwhelming and break it down into something manageable and practical.

Q: When did you join Aspiring Law?
A: I joined the Aspiring Law team in July 2025 and am loving becoming a part of a tight-knit community both in and out of the office.
Q: Can you tell us about your background?
A: Originally from the far north coast of New South Wales, Australia, I relocated to the stunning town of Wānaka to fully embrace the mountain lifestyle. After completing university, I spent three unforgettable years travelling across Europe and living in Canada, before returning home to launch my career as a Licensed Conveyancer in Byron Bay. I spent five years honing my skills in Byron, then made the exciting decision to move overseas once again. Now based in beautiful New Zealand, I get to enjoy mountain adventures right at my doorstep while working alongside the vibrant team at Aspiring Law.
Q: What do you enjoy most about working in law?
A: I love the opportunity to help people navigate significant moments in their lives with clarity and confidence. That often means guiding clients through something that can be both exciting and overwhelming. I find it incredibly rewarding to be a steady, knowledgeable presence during that time. I also enjoy the detail-oriented nature of the work and the satisfaction that comes from resolving complex matters efficiently and accurately.
